Below is a list of our current facilities, some of which can be seen in our Photo Gallery. Dimensions and rules for use of the Hall and facilities can be found in our Information and Downloads section of the website.

SMITH HALL

The Main Hall is rectangular in shape with a wooden floor, high ceiling and good lighting. The Main Hall is accessed via the foyer area and has a raised stage at the opposite end. To the left of the main hall are the Crosston Room and the Main kitchen. The kitchen has a double length serving hatch. The dimensions of the hall are included on the floor plan which is available in our information and downloads area of the website.

DRUMMIE HALL

The Drummie Hall is the combined open plan stage and back stage area and is separated from the Smith Hall by concertina doors. There is disabled access to this area via a ramp and Burnside Room (which incorporates a small kitchenette) and the Auldbar Room are accessed from here. There is direct access to two small W.C.s.

STAGE

The Stage is at the end of the Mail Hall and is approximately 1m above the Hall floor height. The stage is also part of the Drummie Hall layout.

CROSSTON ROOM

The Crosston Room is a smaller room equipped with a large circular table, 12 boardroom style chairs, flipchart, white board and free Wi-Fi. It is suitable for smaller meetings and can be set up/laid out to suit your needs. (The table is made up of two semicircular tables)

MAIN KITCHEN

The Kitchen is fully equipped with food preparation areas and equipment and direct access to the Crosston Room allows for further storage or preparation if necessary.

STAN’S BAR

This is the direct serving hatch from the kitchen into the Smith Hall and can easily be transformed from traditional bar to food serving hatch.

AULDBAR ROOM

The Auldbar Room is accessed from the Drummie Hall (Stage /Backstage Area) and can be used as a small meeting room, dressing room or storage.

BURNSIDE ROOM

The Burnside room is also accessed from the Drummie Hall (Stage /Backstage Area) and can be used as a small meeting room, dressing room. This room also houses a small kitchenette and access to the heating controls and fire alarm control box.

TABLES

There are 20 long folding tables which seat 8 people comfortably and their use is included in the hire of the Smith or Drummie Halls.

CHAIRS

We have 150 stacking chairs and again their use is included in the hire of the Smith or Drummie Halls.

SPECIAL OCCASIONS

We also have the ability to cater for functions and parties of 85 to 100 guests with our 13 round tables (seating 8) and banqueting style chairs (85) [See our gallery]. Use of these tables and chairs will incur additional charges.

GLASSES

There is a range of wine glasses, pint & half pint tumblers, spirit and hi-ball glasses available.

CROCKERY

There is a large collection of hall mugs and some other crockery available but for special occasions we recommend you discuss this with us directly.

WI-FI

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hall.

SETTING UP FOR AN EVENT OR FUNCTION

Under normal circumstances the tables and chairs you require will be left out, for you to arrange as desired. If you require the tables and chairs or any other item to be set up/out for you this may incur an additional charge.

OPENING & CLOSING OF THE HALL

The hall will be opened up for you at the time specified on your booking and will be closed up at the time you indicate that you will be finished at the hall. Any excessive additional time may be charged for.
